The Faculty of Arts of Comenius University in Bratislava, as a AMU project partner, together with the Association of Adult Education Institutions in the Slovak Republic (AMU project coordinator) and the Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Sports of the Slovak Republic (AMU project associated partner), organized the final conference of the Lifelong Learning Week 2018, which took place on Rector's Hall of Comenius University in Bratislava. The intellectual outputs were presented by Ilona Štorová (O1) and Klaudius Šilhár (O2). More than 80 participants have learned about the AMU project and its results. Presentations and discussions of local and foreign experts, representatives of relevant departments with representatives of public, private, non-profit institutions active in adult education followed.
The Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of the SR has introduced their vision of adult education in Slovakia. Successful foreign approaches in Age MAnagement and Skills Strategy were presented. The discussion by local and foreign experts, representatives of relevant departments with representatives of public, private, non-profit institutions active in the field of adult education followed. Some of the participants expressed their willingness to participate in piloting of "Age Management Advisor" course and were registered. Thanks to this multiplier event the capacity of course was reached without the need of other promoting of the piloting course. It is good sign that the project topic is hot issue in our region.
